Staff Accountant

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Clio, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager Staff Accountant to join their growing team!

As staff accountant , you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to timely and reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards

Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review

Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal controls

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and reporting initiatives

Assist the Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required); experience with NetSuite is a plus

Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and financial reporting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry

Pay Details: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour

Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the @type of coverage that meets their individual needs. In addition, our associates may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
