The Enterprise Architect - Supply Chain will be a key leader in defining and implementing the architecture for Ford's Supply Chain Management. You will play a pivotal role in global strategic initiatives, making critical technology decisions for both in-house and vendor solutions to modernize Ford's supply chain. This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain business processes, combined with advanced technical proficiency in data modeling, integration patterns, and cloud technologies.

What you'll do...
Define and implement comprehensive business and technical architecture solutions to modernize Ford's Supply Chain, aligning with strategic business goals and objectives.
Address diverse challenges in supplier collaboration, transparency, sustainability, and risk management through innovative architectural designs.
Provide enterprise architectural services for Supply Chain Management products, including consulting on solution architecture and developing architectural Points of View for proposed initiatives.
Conduct hands-on evaluation of current supply chain operations to design customer-centric solutions and guide product teams in building best-in-class software development.
Partner closely with Business Leads, Software Delivery Leads, Product Managers, and Software Engineers in system design and technology evaluation.
Lead the strategic design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise data solutions, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals, and defining data governance policies and frameworks.
Design and build scalable, high-performance Business Intelligence solutions, leveraging advanced data modeling concepts and techniques.
Architect end-to-end data pipelines and robust data integration frameworks to enable seamless flow of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (cloud and on-premise).
Set the technical direction and implementation strategy for high-quality cloud solutions, focusing on overarching cloud strategy, industry trends, and tool adoption.
Modernize Ford's in-house applications by migrating them to cloud platforms, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Evaluate vendors and make informed buy-vs-build decisions, identifying key portfolio capabilities and mapping global system strategy.
Advocate for agile methodologies and ensure the implementation of DevOps and software craftsmanship practices like Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) tools.
Ensure architectures are secure, compliant, and scalable to support global supply chain operations and future business growth.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineeing, Systems Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
7+ years of progressive experience in architecture, technology, and software functions, with a significant focus on Supply Chain Management.
2+ years as an Enterprise or Solution Architect in a large, complex organization. This should also include:
Experience with multi-team, large-scale projects and incorporating all levels of architecture development (Business, Solution, Application, Infrastructure).
Highly proficient in data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles.
Extensive knowledge and practical experience with various integration patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven, REST APIs, distributed cloud systems) to create robust and performing integrated systems.
5+ years of supply chain business knowledge, including operations, demand planning, logistics, and procurement best practices.
3+ years of cloud knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure, with deep expertise in GCP preferred.
2+ years of experience with cloud deployment, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and architecting highly available, scalable, global solutions.
2+ years of experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

This position is Salary Grades 7-8 and ranges from $97,140- $190,500.
