Job Title: Laser Operator

Location: Turtle Creek, PA

Type: Contingency

Compensation: $40,000 - $49,920.00

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

Set up and operate laser cutting machine.

Interpret and work from blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

Adjust machine settings to optimize cutting quality and efficiency.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment.

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using measuring tools.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.

Collaborate with production teams to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

1+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines required.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong understanding of machine setup and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with sheet metal @types, gauges, and properties.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with machine programming.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:

Forklift certification is a plus.

Experience with lean manufacturing principles
