As a Security Officer - Roving Foot Patrol in Bedford Park, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor grounds and key areas through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will support teams and visitors with customer service, document activity, and report concerns. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.

Monitor access points and truck traffic flow by observing inbound and outbound activity, checking credentials as required, and directing visitors and drivers to the proper location.

Complete security-related reports such as incident documentation, patrol logs, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
