Job Title: AI Engineering Specialist

Location: Lynchburg, Virginia

Type: Contract

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities:

Design and implement a wide array of technical solutions to support business requirements and increase efficiency under broad supervision.

Work with end-users and other technical personnel to fully define, implement, and maintain systems, providing testing, training, and technical support as needed.

Provide leadership on large-scale projects and supervise other Technical Architects.

Collaborate with technical leads to automate and enhance programming practices.

Design and lead implementation of technical solutions in line with company Roadmaps.

Engage with stakeholders to understand and validate customer needs.

Create specifications, proto@types, and technical documentation.

Define technical standards and functionality tests.

Requirements:

Strong programming background in languages such as .NET, Python, C#, Java.

Experience with AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools.

Understanding of machine learning concepts.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern development workflows.

Ability to evaluate AI-generated output for correctness, security, and performance.

Strong communication skills to translate AI capabilities into team benefits.
