Entry-Level PC Technician

Location: Middletown, NY

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm $20.00 Hr

Manpower is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level PC Technician to support one of our clients with day-to-day IT functions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to launch their IT career, gain hands-on experience, and work alongside an established technical team. No prior professional IT experience required-just a willingness to learn and strong problem-solving skills. Mix of office and off-site work.

What You'll Do

Assist with setup, installation, and configuration of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues for end users.

Install operating systems, updates, and approved software applications.

Support password resets, connectivity questions, and general help desk inquiries.

Image and prepare new equipment for deployment.

Maintain documentation, inventory tracking, and equipment logs.

Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or IT support leads.

What You Bring

Basic understanding of PC hardware components and Windows operating systems.

Ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

High attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Ability to lift and move equipment (25-40 lbs).

High school diploma or equivalent required; IT coursework or certifications (CompTIA A+ preferred) are a plus.

Reliable transportation is required for off-site installations and troubleshooting (mileage re-imbursement)
