Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring a Culinary Assistants to join our team. Teamwork and respect are very important to us. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

As a Culinary Assistant at Apple Valley Village Health Care Center , you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members' meals. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Culinary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Come and work in a beautiful and rewarding setting while helping seniors enjoy their dining experience.

Position Type: Part-Time working various hours included weekends

Shifts Available:

Days 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Wage Range: $15.50 - $20.83 / hour depending on experience.

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.

Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.

Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.

Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.

May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.

Complete additional tasks as needed.

Culinary Assistant Qualifications:

Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.

Previous serving/dining experience is plus, but not required! We will train!
