South Central Human Service Center Bridges to Recovery- Jamestown, ND -Direct Care Associate Adult Temp/PRN

No experience required; on-site training provided.

Bridges to Recovery is seeking dedicated Direct Care Associates to join our team. We are hiring for temporary positions with various shifts available. Temporary positions are part-time, ongoing and on an as-needed basis.

As aDirect Care Associate, you will connect with clients and support them on their recovery journey.

Each day, you will aid individuals to identify their goals for recovery, learning, and life. You will assist in generalizing the skills clients learn during substance use and mental health groups. You will work with clients to develop effective communication and socialization skills, as well as teach self-advocacy and self-help strategies. You will observe and monitor individuals' condition. documenting and reporting any changes in well-being. You will also assist clients in the administration of their medication.

You will thrive in this position, if you are an empathetic individual and have a passion for teaching individuals life skills and how to overcome barriers that may be present in their lives.

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED. Experience providing direct care to special populations is preferred. We will provide CNA training onsite if not currently certified.

The position requires a valid drivers license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
