THE POSITION
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has a vacancy for a Clerical Assistant 2 at Ole Bull State Park Office (part of the Kettle Creek Complex). If you are energetic, efficient, and detail oriented, as well as have good customer service skills, this may be perfect for you!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will provide clerical and office support at Ole Bull State Park to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until October 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Seasonal Full-time employment, 5 days/37.5 hours per week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
Days and shifts will vary and includes holidays and weekends.
Will require overtime in emergency situations, and travel for trainings and meetings.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $18.46 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
Graduation from high school;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
