Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Loveland, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong expertise in financial operations and accounting practices. You will play a key role in managing essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies.

Responsibilities:

Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly documented.

Prepare and post journal entries while verifying their accuracy and compliance.

Perform account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving them efficiently.

Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements.

Handle payroll processing using ADP systems, ensuring timely and precise execution.

Manage accounts payable operations, reviewing and processing invoices.

Utilize Dynamics 365 Business Central to oversee financial transactions and reporting.

Ensure sales tax compliance by preparing and submitting accurate filings.

Collaborate with shared services teams to optimize accounting workflows and processes. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.

Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

Strong skills in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

Experience with bank reconciliations and payroll processing using ADP.

Familiarity with accounts payable operations and shared services environments.

Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central and its accounting functionalities.

Understanding of sales tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
