Summary You will serve as a ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in theDEPARTMENT HEAD ES (01D00) of NIWC ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will be an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead/Senior IT Project Manager (PM) in the NIWC Atlantic IPT/Competency Aligned Organization (CAO). You will manage the engineering and computer science methods and techniques in assessing the feasibility of new concepts for project/program requirements. You will manage the formulation of definition, organization and direction of a major project(s)/program(s) extensive in scope; leveraging theoretical foundations of computer science to resolve a variety of technological problems. You will manage high-ranking stakeholder requirements from external agencies which may include highly unstructured settings to justify, defend, negotiate, or settle matters involving significant or controversial issues. You will represent the command within high level committees and groups with the responsibility and authority to defend the activity's position, influence resource allocation, and effect major changes to project(s)/program(s) goals. You will plan, monitor, control, and report on project activities through the development of Project Management Plans, System Engineering Plans, schedules, Risk Management Plans, Resource Management plans, and Project procurement strategies. You will identify and analyze problems; weighing relevance and accuracy of information; seeking and evaluating alternative perspectives/solutions; making timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions. You will lead a multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed team in a highly dynamic environment, collaborating internally and with external stakeholders following SAFe Agile methodologies using DEVSECOPs tools and processes. You will be articulating and defending facts and technical findings, verbally and in writing, and in negotiating with individuals and groups internally and externally. You will be influencing senior decision makers on complex issues and recommended actions.
