Lead the moments that matter. As a Sales Event Coordinator, you'll organize and oversee group arrivals, ensuring every event runs smoothly and every guest leaves impressed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Coordinates sales and internal events as needed. Ensures that the sales department has all of the communication needed for events. Assists with cultivating the social market (wedding receptions, rehearsal parties, birthday, anniversary parties etc.). Books overnight rooms blocks within the social market. Responsible for entering all contracts and BEOs for both catering sales and group room sales. Contacts customers for rooming lists, form of payment, advance deposits, tax exempt forms, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required. One to two years group sales experience, preferably with group room blocks, preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The Associate is also regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The Associate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
