Job Title: 2pm Put Away Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a 2pm Put Away associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, and products while adhering to established guidelines.

Responsibilities

Generate manifest for dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders.

Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated areas.

Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity.

Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a predetermined sequence.

Prepare products for distribution within facilities.

Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing station or shipping department.

Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system.

Essential Skills

Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Familiarity with warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, and stocking.

Experience using RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred.

No certification required initially; certification on CROWN trucks provided upon permanent hire.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles, where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. The environment is non-climate controlled, so be prepared for varying temperatures. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety, and the use of cellphones or electronics is not permitted in the warehouse.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
