Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Irving, Texas. This is a long-term contract position with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing supply chain operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient logistics coordination.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate supply chain activities, including evaluating daily orders, arranging shipments, and liaising with vendors.

Prepare quotes for transportation and warehouse services while overseeing logistics partner relationships.

Monitor shipment progress, provide updates to suppliers, customers, and partners, and address any logistical concerns.

Review and adjust inventory records across multiple warehouse locations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.

Process invoices, reconcile inventory data, and handle over/short/damaged (OS& D) item resolutions.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding logistics, troubleshoot service issues, and collaborate with internal teams for solutions.

Manage documentation for claims, audits, and performance evaluations of carriers and warehouses. Requirements - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.

Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Must be available onsite in Irving, Texas, three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Familiarity with inventory processes such as tracking, annual physical inventory, and asset management.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
