Ribbon Communications is seeking an IP/VoIP Telecom Project Manager to oversee and coordinate technical solution deployment projects, including project planning, testing, implementation, and deployment readiness. The Project Manager works closely with customers and internal teamsProduct Line Managers, RandD, Supply Chain, Sales, and Professional Servicesto ensure projects meet expectations for quality, scope, resourcing, and timelines.

This role is involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from kick-off through hand-off to Ribbon Support.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer projects and post-sales deliverables through regular virtual and/or in-person engagements. Travel may be required.

Manage project scope, schedules, resources, and deliverables for complex Ribbon deployments involving multiple network and telecom products.

Lead matrixed project teamsincluding Professional Services, Sales, PLM, Supply Chain, and customer technical teamsto deliver projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets.

Conduct ongoing account reviews with customers on product roadmaps, upgrades, operational topics, and technical support escalations.

Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

Monitor and update project financials, including forecasting for professional services revenue.

Prepare and deliver clear communication plans ensuring proactive and consistent updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on, customer-facing Project Management experience in a highly technical, fast-paced engineering environment.

Hands-on technical experience in the telecommunications domain, including:

IP networking (IP, TCP/IP, Ethernet)

Telecommunications and telephony systems

SIP and VoIP technologies

Wireless technologies

Troubleshooting in telecom/IP network environments

Experience managing telecom field deployments or traffic migrations

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse and remote teams.

Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office.

Experience with Smartsheet (or similar PM tools such as MS Project or Jira).

Ability to work outside normal business hours when required.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with delivery processes involving field deployments and telecommunications traffic migration.

PMP certification.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in all geographic locations is $104,800.00 - $144,100.00 annually. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to the candidates experience, skills and education. The compensation package also includes eligibility for an incentive plan and comprehensive benefits, subject to applicable requirements.
