Role and Scope of Position: - Will contribute in a multitude of ways, from architecting phenomenal systems, creating, and encouraging good software development practices engineering-wide, driving strategic technical improvements, and mentoring other engineers. A Lead Software Engineer is also responsible for developing, maintaining, and repairing company software for maximum efficiency and usability. - Leads software performance management (measure and improve) - Successfully plan and execute projects involving multiple developers and complex requirements, prioritizing strategically - Contributes to major architectural decisions and reads all project related tech specs, tracking status and considering implications to other systems. - Spurs and facilitates meaningful discussion around complex issues. - Works with key stakeholders effectively to solve problems and make decisions. - Trusted to always share status with all stakeholders, and proactively remedy communication issues.
