Join Smurfit WestRock as a Bander Operator, where you\u2019ll play a key role in securing finished products for shipment. You\u2019ll operate banding equipment, ensure quality standards, and help keep production moving efficiently. Keywords: manufacturing jobs, machine operator, packaging operator.

What You'll Do

Operate banding machines to strap and secure corrugated or paperboard products.

Inspect bundles for proper alignment, band tension, and labeling.

Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance.

Maintain accurate production records.

Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.

Manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

The starting rate is $25.03 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 5 days of paid vacation will be granted after 1 year of service, and 12 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
