Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. This role requires an Armed Guard Card and/or License and a calm, professional approach aligned with our agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by site assignment.

Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state requirements, and post orders, including proper carry, handling, and storage of issued and/or authorized equipment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services, and completing required notifications.

Control access points by checking identification, monitoring visitor entry and/or deliveries, observing alarm and camera systems when assigned, and preparing clear reports of security-related activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
