Accounts Receivable Representative (Omnicare)

Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Representative is charged with maximizing cash flow, specifically by taking inbound and auto-dialer calls related to patient accounts. This role is essential to ensuring patient financial services are handled properly, and is responsible for helping patients understand their pharmaceutical charges & assisting in resolving any resident questions or concerns.

In this role, you will:

Taking high-volume inbound calls as assigned, specifically from Omnicare customers.

Completing collections as assigned.

Working with multiple billing systems in order to accomplish departmental goals.

Processing credit card payments from customers.

Reviewing statements from patients, facilities, and nurses.

Collaborate on tickets with various internal teams.

Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

1+ year of experience in collections.

1+ year of experience in a telephonic customer service environment.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel & Access.

Strong computer navigation & typing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and within a team-based environment.

Ability to multi-task regularly and efficiently.

Strong adaptability and time management skills.

Previous knowledge of Medicare Part D and Medicaid.

Previous experience with internal Omnicare systems.

Previous experience in a work-from-home environment.

Previous understanding of Accounts Receivable.

Education

High school diploma or GED.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $42.35

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
