Pulmonary Hypertension APP (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pulmonary Hypertension Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-to join our specialized Pulmonary Hypertension program. This role supports a highly complex patient population across NICU, CICU, inpatient units and outpatient settings, collaborating closely with cardiology, neonatology, pulmonology, and critical care teams to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and a passion for managing medically complex infants and children with pulmonary hypertension and associated cardiac and pulmonary conditions. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and contribute to diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of pulmonary hypertension. Provide longitudinal follow-up and care for pulmonary hypertension patients across: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), Inpatient units and Outpatient clinics Manage and monitor complex patient populations, including Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) patients, Pulmonary vein disease patients, Single ventricle physiology patients Initiate, adjust and titrate pulmonary hypertension medications based on clinical status and diagnostic findings. Provide education and guidance to patients and families regarding: Pulmonary hypertension diagnosis, therapies, infusion pump management, trial and investigational medications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings Quality Improvement & Research Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing outcomes for pulmonary hypertension patients Support and engage in clinical research activities, including data collection, protocol adherence, and implementation of evidence-based practices Assist with monitoring outcomes and contributing to program development and innovation Schedule & Call Responsibilities Monday through Friday schedule, Four (4) ten-hour shifts per week Call responsibilities overnight and weekends required Why Join Cincinnati Children's Cincinnati Children's is a nationally recognized leader in pediatric care, research, and education. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care- Perform history and/or physical exams on patients presenting for care in area of expertise. Assess and diagnose illnesses, including chronic and acute conditions. Formulate, document and monitor a treatment plan. Order and monitor therapeutic interventions including but not limited to diets, laboratory, radiological and diagnostic tests as deemed necessary by patient history and/or physical exam. Provide clinical consultation, order interdisciplinary consults. Professional practice including but not limited to prescription of medications in accordance with Federal and State Law & Rules and CCHMC policy. Attains and maintains competency in subspecialty practice, skills and procedures in accordance with Joint Commission standards for focused (FPPE) and ongoing (OPPE) professional practice evaluation.
