ResponsibilitiesProvide Windows systems administration in multiple heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environmentsInstall, configure, and manage Windows operating systems, applications, and related software, including Microsoft Exchange, Office, SharePoint and SCCM.Implement and maintain Group Policy settings and other configuration tools.Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect Windows systems and data.Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows systems and applications.Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying problems.Develop and document technical configurations, processes and proceduresCollaborating with other teamsOther duties as assignedRequirements5+ years professional experience performing duties of a Windows system administratorStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments including experience managing and troubleshooting Windows 11 and Active DirectoryA bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, a related field, or equivalent experienceAn active and transferable Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraphDepartment of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification)Experience with system hardening and STIGsDetail orientedGood verbal and written communication skillsCandidates meeting the following criteria will be preferred:Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESXi or other virtual computing methodsStorage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS) systemsUnderstanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs; Cisco experience and/or certificationExperience with Linux system administrationCreation and deployment of Windows system images in an enterprise environmentExperience with U.S. government certification & accreditation processesBenefitsSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:4% Safe Harbor 401(k) match100% company paid HSA Medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options80% company paid Dental insurance100% company paid Vision insurance100% company paid Life insurance100% company paid Long-term Disability insurance100% company paid Hospital Indemnity insuranceVoluntary Accident and Critical Illness insuranceShort-term Disability insuranceAnnual Profit-Sharing PlanDiscretionary Performance BonusPaid Parental LeaveGenerous Paid Time Off, including Holiday, Vacation, and Sick PayFlexible Work HoursThe pay range for this position is $125,000 - $160,000 / year.
