Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:The Marketing Science and Enablement Manager supports HBSE's data strategy and audience intelligence efforts, helping the organization use fan and customer data to inform more personalized and effective marketing. This role partners closely with both Data & Analytics and Digital Marketing teams to ensure marketing programs are insight-driven and aligned with organizational goals.
The Manager focuses on segmentation, analytics, journey planning, data governance, and marketing technology support. This position helps ensure HBSE's digital marketing ecosystem remains organized, efficient, and ready to scale as programs grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:
Strategic Support & Collaboration
Lead execution as well as aid in the development of HBSE's marketing analytics and segmentation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and digital marketing needs.
Support internal teams in using fan data more effectively, including journey mapping, personalization strategies, and lifecycle planning.
Stay informed on marketing science trends and tools, sharing recommendations that enhance team capabilities.
Audience Segmentation & Journey Strategy
Build and maintain audience segments, fan cohorts, and data frameworks that guide activation by the Digital Team.
Recommend lifecycle journey logic and personalization opportunities.
Partner with Data Platforms & Operations to ensure needed data is available and properly structured for marketing use.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
Drive performance reporting, dashboard creation, insight generation, and scoring frameworks for marketing campaigns and audience engagement.
Work with Digital Communications to enable and support testing and experimentation process by managing infrastructure and summarizing insights.
Identify opportunities to improve engagement or efficiency based on data trends.
Data Governance & Technology Support
Assist in governing key data sources used by the digital marketing team, including CDP datasets and Salesforce Sales Cloud syncs.
Collaborate with Data Operations to expand and refine available fan data.
Provide input on tools, data flows, and processes that impact digital marketing performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and marketing automation.
Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
Familiarity with digital marketing ecosystems (email, SMS, CRM, CDP, ticketing).
Understanding of data governance, segmentation logic, and measurement frameworks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel occasionally, including between HBSE's various offices.
Work Environment: This position generally requires that work primarily be performed from the 76ers' office in Camden, NJ.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $110,000/year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position will be an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
