As a senior operations consultation manager on the Product, Brand, and Sustainability team, you will contribute to Starbucks success by providing operations expertise and consultation on key product initiatives. This includes supporting new product launches, shaping field-facing resources and training, and guiding change-management plans.
Senior operations consultation managers lead the planning, development, and testing of large and highly complex products, systems, and programs within our coffeehouses ensuring they deliver customer experiences that strengthen and grow the Starbucks brand.
In this role, you will collaborate across Starbucks to identify operational opportunities, drive consistency, and optimize performance in support of partners, customers, and the broader business.
As a senior operations consultation manager, you will...
Create (written and design) field- facing tool and resource materials
Collects project feedback and information to identify problems to solve and optimize performance.
Manage and build timelines for deliverables.
Manage and create content for Retail Communications outlets (Weekly Updates, exception comms, leadership comms, etc.)
Consult with peers, managers and program managers to support and make strategic decisions that impact how information arrives in our retail locations
Provide retail operations perspective and expertise on projects, programs and initiatives to optimize performance relative to sales, profitability and the customer and partner experience
We'd love to hear from people with:
3 years of Starbucks district manager experience or 6 years of progressively responsible, equivalent experience including 3 years in retail operations multi-unit leadership and 3 years in implementation and/or project management within a retail or restaurant environment
Ability to communicate with clarity and purpose, both in writing and in conversation
Strong working knowledge of retail store operations, processes, and routines
Proven ability to lead through influence and build strong partnerships across all levels and functions
Ability to intake information, identifying what matters most, and synthesizing insights to guide next steps
A practical understanding of store operations that supports empathy for the partner and customer experience
Comfort navigating ambiguity and creating thoughtful, inclusive solutions
Natural curiosity and the ability to ask questions that uncover insights and root causes
Ability to spot emerging trends, leverage leading indicators, and translate insights into meaningful action using available tools and data
Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. ?At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
