SUMMARY
Collaborates with the Finance & Insurance (F&I) Operations and F&I Development Managers with development, marketing, administration, and compliance of all the Subaru F&I products such as Subaru Added Security (SAS) and Subaru Equity Shield (SES). These insurance products are written in partnership with insurance companies, are sold by participating Subaru of America (SOA) retailers, and Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) is reinsured through Pleiades Insurance Company, Ltd. (SOA's Captive insurance company). Assists with the insurance compliance for SAS (extended service agreements) in all states.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, prepares, analyzes, and reviews quarterly Risk Management Executive Summary Reports for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) including budget and underwriting Profit for Pleiades Insurance Co., Ltd., Subaru of America's (SOA's) captive insurance company. Compile and evaluate relevant data and provide supporting explanations or insights as needed.
Analyze and report on claims, incentives, and sales trends, identifying anomalies and providing recommendations to management.
Produce monthly reports on Subaru Equity Shield (SES) sales performance and audit retailer participation, incentives, and product performance. Communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Support regulatory compliance activities for all Finance & Insurance (F&I) products. Includes but not limited to preparing renewal applications, coordinating approvals and signatures, updating Subaru Added Security (SAS) forms, managing state submissions and approvals, and maintaining required licenses and retailer appointments for Subaru of America Services, Inc. (SASI) and Subaru Extended Services Company (SESC), as manage through the appointment of new Florida retailers and renewals of appointments of active Florida retailers, on a biannual basis, to maintain their license to sell Added Security.
Collaborate with management on the development, marketing, administration, and compliance of Subaru Equity Shield (SES) products.
Calculate SES retailer incentives, provide performance updates to the SOA Field team, and respond to related inquiries.
Research and evaluate potential new insurance products for retailer offerings. Develop communications for product launches or updates, create procedural guides for Subaru intranet processes, respond to compliance requests from partners (e.g., Safe-Guard and Allstate), and update SAS agreements for coverage or regulatory changes.
Investigate and resolve customer, retailer, and insurance partner complaints related to SES products. Review case details, determine appropriate resolutions, and communicate outcomes to the Customer Advocacy Department (CAD), Field teams, retailers, or customers.
Manage operational processes related to Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) including reviewing claim notifications, identifying potential sales leads, and coordinating with the sales team and retailers. Review and approve retailer enrollments and corrections for eRate and eContract platforms.
Processes GAP cancellation refunds to customer or lienholder on behalf of out-of-business retailers; and requests cancellation refunds from Safe-Guard for Tire & Wheel, Dent & Ding, Windshield and/or Key for out-of-business retailers. Maintains a log of all refunds paid by SOA.
Provide required documentation and coordinate the onboarding of new retailers to sell SES products with insurance partners such as Allstate and Safe-Guard.
Perform monthly audits of Subaru Added Security (SAS) agreements financed by Wells Fargo.
Explores different methods to increase sales including coverage enhancements and creative incentive programs.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with manager to process retailers' entry into the Subaru reinsurance program. Processes termination of existing reinsurance retailers and assists with issuing reinsurance surplus disbursements.
Maintains logs of outside counsel's invoices paid and SES GAP and SES OVP invoices paid, including commissions received, incentive funds received, goodwill being held, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong analytical skills, as well as process-oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlines and ability to work independently.

Understanding and knowledge of Finance & Insurance (F&I) contracts and coverage.
Ability to attend retailer training regarding F&I products and complete Subaru Foundations courses regarding F&I products.
Knowledge of retailer F&I sales operations
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree or HS Diploma and equivalent experience in lieu of degree required.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in risk management, finance, or accounting preferred
At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience required

Hybrid Role: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (after 90 days) [Wednesdays & Fridays]
COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $72000 - $95000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance. (Internal Job Grade: P2)
