Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. This long-term contract position involves addressing complex technical issues, mentoring team members, and playing a key role in optimizing IT systems. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in IT support and a passion for delivering effective solutions in a service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve escalated technical issues across systems, devices, and networks.

Conduct root cause analysis on recurring problems and implement permanent solutions to improve system reliability.

Mentor and guide entry level team members by sharing knowledge, refining procedures, and leading training sessions.

Lead IT projects, including planning and executing deployments of new technologies and managing task forces to ensure successful outcomes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems and enhance overall performance.

Administer and monitor IT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to identify areas for improvement.

Act as a liaison between support teams and other IT functions, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team.

Coordinate with external vendors to resolve complex issues when necessary.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and mentoring.

Proficiency in Entra ID and Office 365.

Strong understanding of LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) concepts.

Experience with endpoint security tools and practices.

Proven ability to lead IT projects and manage cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and mentoring.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
