Bowhead seeks aData Analytics & Data Engineering Support Specialist to provide technical and analytical support in the development of dashboards, reporting solutions, and associated data pipelines. This role will support enterprise-level financial and operational reporting initiatives, including ERP data integration, validation, and analytics within government data platforms.The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional project teams to gather requirements, participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure high-quality data solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities
Job duties to include but not be limited to:
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and analytics reports using:
Power BI
Power Query
Microsoft Excel
Tableau
Tableau Prep Builder
SQL
Python
Develop, optimize, and maintain underlying data pipelines supporting dashboards and reports.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions with project teams and stakeholders.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including validation of reporting outputs and issue resolution.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting environments.
Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer as required.
Financial & ERP Data Support
Analyze financial data sourced from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Build and maintain data pipelines integrating ERP data into analytics platforms.
Conduct data validation and reconciliation of ERP data within:
Jupiter/Advana
Enterprise Digital Capabilities (EDC)
Support compliance with requirements outlined in C.4.9.10, C4.1.1, C4.1.2, and CDRL A002.
Collaborate with financial and functional stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet operational and audit standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3-7+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence roles.
Demonstrated experience developing dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
Experience developing data pipelines using Python and ETL tools.
Experience working with ERP financial data.
Ability to support requirements sessions and UAT activities in a client-facing environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with government financial systems and reporting environments.
Familiarity with Advana/Jupiter or Enterprise Digital Capabilities (EDC).
Experience supporting DoD or federal financial management initiatives.
Understanding of financial reconciliation and data validation methodologies.
Knowledge of Agile or iterative development methodologies.

Target salary range is $110,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
