At the Department of Public Safety (DPS), our mission is to provide a safe and secure environment through professional service, accountability, and operational excellence. The Central Warehouse and Mail Center support DPS divisions and partner agencies by ensuring timely mail delivery, accurate inventory management, and secure operations.
We're looking for anAdministrative Coordinator 2to assist the Warehouse and Mail Room Supervisor with daily operations, reporting, and oversight.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accuracy and the correct mailing methods for DPS and partner agencies.
Help manage warehouse operations, including inventory counts, order fulfillment, and tracking supplies for both internal and external customers.
Prepare daily and annual inventory reports and maintain accurate records of all items distributed.
Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and lifts.
Maintain security of the warehouse and mailroom, controlling access and safeguarding property and sensitive materials.

Appointment Type:Job Appointment, Probational, or Promotional
Work Schedule:Work hours are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
