Summary You will serve as a Department Management Specialist in the Corporate Operations Department of NSWC PHILA DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-09 and GS-10. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. Responsibilities You will be responsible for providing the full range of administrative management and financial management functions that support the accomplishment of the Department's assigned mission. You will develop work operations, new/modified work methods, management processes, and administrative procedures for program operations. You will serve as an advisor to management in evaluating the effectiveness, productivity and efficiency of the Department's programs and administrative operations/functions. You will accomplish office operations and management, coordinate administrative policies and procedures, and provide direction on the implementation of administrative and clerical work for correspondence, timekeeping, and records management. You will coordinate with functional areas to investigate problems, gather, compile and evaluate facts to make conclusions and recommendations to program and administrative operations concerning organization's program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-02 (GS-05 through GS-08 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the public or private sector providing administrative support to programs to improve program efficiency and effectiveness. For the NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-9/10 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the public or private sector analyzing programs to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.
