As an Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Welding here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

You will report directly to our Engineering Director, and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location onsite.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing processes by optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our operations. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as machining, welding, brazing and assembly of complex aerospace components.

Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.

Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.

Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.

Familiar with NX or similar CAD software.

Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineer) or Manufacturing Engineer.

Experience in driving process improvements and achieving results.

US PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position is $131,000 - $163,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
