The Senior Accountant is a key member of the finance team, responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting critical financial processes, including month-end close, general ledger management, and internal controls. This role plays a pivotal part in financial planning and analysis, audit preparation, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical accounting background, analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives. Responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting & General Ledger Management:
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records to maintain financial integrity.
Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls:
Assist with internal and external audit preparations, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting regulations.
Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Support tax compliance efforts, including sales tax, property tax, and corporate tax filings.
Cross functional work (Capital/Dispenser/SG&A Focused):
Produce monthly capital expense workbook to the business leads to provide appropriate visibility to project spend as well variance to budget.
Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate expenses related to dispenser. Provide monthly dispenser P+L to sales VP.
Provide analysis over SG&A areas and business partner with the appropriate functional leads to ensure the business is in-line with budget and accrued in line with GAAP.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support business decisions, mainly for CAPEX, dispensers, and SG&A.
Collaborate with department heads to track expenditures and improve cost management strategies.
Process Improvement & Systems Optimization:
Own the CAPEX+ model and its authority matrix as well as how it interacts with SAP.
Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and enhance ERP system functionality.
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting functions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional growth.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial analysis.
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
