Seasonal/Temporary Work 04/20/26-11/20/26

Basis farm labor - cotton, corn, soybean and rice farm. No livestock, no big truck driving. Help plant,\ water and harvest. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such\ as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working\ in high humidity; clean work areas; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to\ condition the soil; load and unload materials and commodities; mix materials, dump solutions or\ seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer @type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and\ maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and\ other structures; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as\ shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as\ wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but\ not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being\ performed: air seeders, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton stripper/picker, grain carts,\ irrigation equipment, planters, sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help\ produce: corn, cotton, grain sorghum, rice, soybeans.

Operating tools and equipment as applicable and noted in the job description as well as operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is dangerous. Operator manuals have label warnings Do Not Operate Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol. Work Comp Insurance as well as vehicle insurance companies require safety compliance. Poor judgment, improper driving, etc. can result in serious and fatal accidents. Employer has a strict policy prohibiting drug use. Any drug testing will be post hire and at the employer\'s expense. Assisting with the employers farming operation includes lifting agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to the lifting requirement listed at B.4.e. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farms operation. (as applicable and per the job description) Employer may, at the company\'s sole discretion, pay workers an hourly rate above the minimum required and/or offer a bonus, PTO, insurance, etc. to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job\ order depending on how many years of experience they have obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as work performance, skill, punctuality, licensing, training, prior work experience, etc. Workers will be required to report to the worksite(s) listed at the beginning of the work day and may perform the job duties listed at various fields, patches, parcels, etc. All work performed at any location will result in the worker being able to return to the housing listed on the job order at the end of each work day. The employer may have multiple job opportunities and reserves the right to present other job opportunities to workers already employed under this job order as well as possible applicants for their consideration. All workers must have proper work authorization to be employed under any of the employer\'s job opportunities. While the employer\'s frequency of pay is defined in the job order, the frequency may change during the contract period as a result of factors such as payroll service provision, internal business operations, etc., but in no event will the frequencybe less than twice per month in which case, all days and payday hours, as applicable by local, state, or federal law would be paid.

In view of the statutorily established basic function of the ES as a no-fee labor exchange, that is, as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the ETA nor the SWAs are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers. Nor does any job order accepted or recruited upon by the ES constitute a contractual job offer to which the ETA or a SWA is in any way a party
