Summary The Program Analyst works closely with the Deputy Associate Director of Patient Care Services/Nurse Executive or designee, under the AO of Nursing, by managing, directing, overseeing and administering numerous complex technical and analytical functions related to care coordination and other programs. The incumbent applies analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration and resolution of issues or problems in order to improve the effectiveness of business processes. Responsibilities Fundamental components of the position are general administrative duties including, but not limited to: Comprehensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and techniques in order to carry out responsibility for all program analysis functions at a large and complex medical facility. Extensive knowledge of the administrative and technical mission, organization and work processes of a large and complex medical facility sufficient to plan and conduct medical facility program reviews and analyses Formulating study reports and recommendations regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of medical facility operating and support programs, operations and activities. Knowledge of medical facility programs sufficient to evaluate accomplishment of overall programs, identify existing or potential problem areas, and recommend corrective action of preventive measures.
