This position supports information technology applications through planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Beaker/LIS incidents, analyzing workflows, monitoring and resolving interface errors, and performing low to moderate complexity system build and configuration to ensure reliable and efficient application performance.
We regularly conduct learning and growth sessions focused on Beaker workflows and other tools such as Outlook and ServiceNow. In addition, we host mini knowledge-sharing sessions where team members present their work and share insights from their experiences. These sessions foster continuous learning and help expand both technical expertise and practical knowledge across the team.
We will hire our Beaker CPI Systems Analyst in two different job titles, based on educational background:
Beaker CPI Systems Analyst II
Beaker CPI Systems Analyst III
A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with on-call requirements once every 3 months for 7 days.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Participate in feasibility analysis, estimating, planning, designing, developing, prototyping, building, resting, implementing, quality assurance evaluation and modification of automated systems.
Recommend solutions to enhance system functionality.
Collaborate with system users and other IT professionals to evaluate, plan, design, implement, and provide ongoing optimization and preventative maintenance support for Beaker/LIS applications.
Gather, validate, and translate technological requirements into design and development specifications while providing Beaker/LIS product management.
Analyze, design, and build workflows to meet the needs of Beaker/LIS users.
Analyze and diagnose Beaker/LIS related system problems, identify root cause, and then solve the problem or escalate issues to other appropriate IT staff when outside area of responsibility or expertise.
Coordination of moderate complexity of Beaker/LIS projects.
Assum on-call responsibilities as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Beaker CPI Systems Analyst II:
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Four years of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment or four years of clinical experience in a role utilizing the systems supported by this position (Epic, Beaker, LIS)
OR Bachelor's Degree and two years of clinical or implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of clinical or implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field such as nursing, respiratory, lab, or technical certification in a related field
Certification/proficiency in one or more Epic applications
Beaker/LIS implementation or support experience
Beaker certification/proficiency or other Lab Informatics System certification
*For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
Beaker CPI Systems Analyst I II:
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Certification/proficiency in one or more Epic applications
Beaker certification/proficiency or other Lab Informatics System certification
*For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
Six years of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment or three years of Beaker/LIS implementation or support experience
OR Bachelor's Degree and four years of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
OR Bachelor's Degree and two years of Beaker/LIS experience
OR High School Diploma/GED and eight years of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of Beaker/LIS experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree

The compensation range provided corresponds to the Beaker CPI Systems Analyst II or III position. Individual pay rates may vary depending on Education Background and Relevant Experience

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $76,540.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $116,747.50
