Description:
This person will perform all scheduling functions, including preparation, maintenance, and update of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and IMS Preparation and Use Guide. The scheduler will document and track all actions required for events and milestone reviews. This person shall provide a reliable, valid schedule in accordance with global standards set by the Program Management Institute (PMI). The PMI provides guidelines and rules for best scheduling practices such as; logical sequencing of activities, integrating activities vertically and horizontally, establishing a critical path, and ensuring reasonable float. This person shall apply appropriate management analysis techniques with respect to cost, schedule, risk assessment, and scenario planning.
This person shall develop, integrate, and synchronize Government and program contractor(s) schedules for efforts including major design upgrades, work directives, software releases, vehicle production, and design cut-ins to fielded vehicles, to result in a fully integrated schedule for the entire program. The subcontractor shall have an understanding of the overall program in order to coordinate multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of efforts and to capture internal/external dependencies that can affect timing. This person shall provide a program schedule that is detailed to the level necessary for the Government to oversee the execution of the project or program, and with enough detail to allow the Government to formulate program management decisions. This person shall present schedules in both detailed and high-level resolution formats to leadership.
Will assist assigned product/project team(s) by developing, integrating, and presenting task-oriented activities in a comprehensive IMS (Integrated Master Schedule). This person shall develop a detailed IMS for all activities important to the teams success, and present IMS data in a clear and concise manner consistent with accepted schedule management techniques and processes. This person shall provide services to team leads with schedule status reviews and schedule update meetings. Will maintain and update the IMP and IMS to assure that acquisition program schedules are complete and correctly documented to include review and presentation of each document required for program milestone reviews or events.
This project is around 1000 production lines and over 5 years long. Will be capturing all tasks for the project over the next 4-5 years. Integrating with OEM schedules.

grasps the essentials of schedule development and schedule management; demonstrates experience and competency in current schedule development (e.g. Microsoft Project and Powerpoint/Excel), schedule logic (Defense Contract Management Agency 14-point evaluation and analysis techniques), and schedule analysis tools, techniques, and software to ensure the integrated schedules developed are complete, technically sound, and can be assessed for the impacts of possible changes to timing and task content;
has familiarity with scheduling tools of the trade to include logic and analysis software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must haves:
1) A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in one of the following roles: program scheduler, master scheduler, project planner, master planner, etc. (need to show experience maintaining project schedule and developing project schedule) for the DoD
(2) Experience utilizing project management/scheduling tool software suites (Microsoft Project; or KIDASA Milestone Professional; or Oracle Primavera; or Barbecana Full Monte; and software using the Monte Carlo simulation tools)
(3) Education/experience requirements: Bachelors Degree (look at additional comments for different education options to consider)
Preferred:
Experience working on military acquisition programs or experience with ground combat vehicle systems
Experience with another DoD (BAE Systems, General Dynamics, American Rheinmetall)
Just in time procurement experience
Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Business Administration

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $48.07/hr.
