Job Title: 2nd Shift Quality InspectorJob Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying and approving production runs, completing associated paperwork, performing regular quality checks on products across various production machines, and ensuring products meet specifications before they are released for sale. The role involves following all safety rules and company-established manufacturing and quality methods and processes while meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Inspectors will read computer specifications, verify lot numbers, quarantine products, and perform root cause analysis, alongside conducting 60-minute quality checks on the floor.

Responsibilities

Verify and approve production runs.

Complete associated paperwork accurately.

Perform regular quality checks on products across various production machines.

Ensure products meet specifications and are ready for release.

Follow all safety rules and company-established methods and processes.

Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Read computer specifications and verify lot numbers.

Quarantine products and perform root cause analysis.

Conduct 60-minute quality checks on the production floor.

Work Environment

The position involves both floor work for product checks and office work for documentation. The role starts with training on the 1st shift for 2-3 weeks, then transitions to the 2nd shift. The climate-controlled environment offers opportunities for overtime, typically every other Saturday, but not mandatory. The 1st shift runs Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and the 2nd shift runs Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GRAFTON, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
