Departmental Technician 7-E9
This experienced level Departmental Technician position performs a variety of support activities for the Department of Health and Human Services at its statewide local offices. This position provides technical support functions for the local offices' equipment, telephone system coordination, alarm and security systems, non-technical and limited technical system and problem detection, and reporting assistance. Conducts analysis, research, and completes special projects for the local office. Provides guidance to other staff within the office. Serves as the local offices' liaison and primary contact to and from the Department of Information Technology.

Departmental Technician 10 (Advanced Level)
This advanced level Departmental Technician provides assistance to local office management and staff for a variety of support activities in the DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES local office. This position serves as a troubleshooter pertaining to local office technical support functions and performs advanced level research and analysis for local office management. Provides training to other staff within the office and serves as the local offices' liaison and primary contact to and from the DTMB.

Additional Requirements and Information
The physical location of this position is 3255 122ndStreet, Suite 300, Allegan, MI 49010. This position will also be serving Barry MDHHS, located in 430 Barfield Drive, Hastings, MI 49058. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
Work must be in performed in the State of Michigan
