As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site in Central Islip, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document activity, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, loading docks, and perimeter points, watching for irregular conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points by observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying authorization as required by post orders, and directing deliveries and visitors to appropriate check-in areas.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when conditions warrant.

Complete detailed reports on daily activities, patrol observations, and incidents, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
