As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points as needed. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for an aerospace and defense setting.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting through established channels.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.

Control access at designated entry points by verifying authorization, monitoring doors and gates, and directing visitors and deliveries according to location requirements.

Support facility operations by monitoring security-related systems, completing required logs and reports, and coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and/or location contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

An active DoD Secret clearance is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
