With over 30 years of history, a modern all-Boeing fleet, and nearly 5,000 teammates collaborating across operations, technical, and corporate functions, we're driven by purpose.If you're ready to grow, innovate, and help us deliver excellence every single day, you belong here.Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing various Structures Engineering functions such as entering data into the repairs tracking system as well as providing support with other projects as needed.Major Job Accountabilities:As aligned to the Structures Engineering department specific needs, the following key tasks will be assigned to the Intern for the duration of the Internship.- Under supervision:- Perform entry level Engineering duties of moderate difficulty providing the opportunity for professional training- Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance- May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports- Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the Company's organizational structure- Coordination and follow through to completion on all assigned projects- Perform all other tasks as assigned; specific activities vary by assignmentQualifications:- Current enrollment in college/university/trade school required- Excellent written and communication skills- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment- Ability to work well alone or with others- Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel preferred- General knowledge of aircraft structures preferred#internIf you'd like more information about your EEO rights as an applicant under the law, please download the available EEO is the Law document by clicking "EEO Is The Law" .To view our Pay Transparency Statement, please click here: Pay Transparency StatementCompetitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors.
