The Gund Company has an opening for a full-time Entry Level Utility Operator to join our team! Shift: 2nd Shift Hourly Wage: $20 - $24 per hour based on experience Shift Premium: 15% The Gund Company, a leader in engineered material solutions, specializes in customized electrical insulation products. With 12 global facilities, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking a Utility Operator I to join our team.

Job Summary Utility Operator As a Utility Operator , you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Utility Operator Operate production equipment such as vertical mills and other CNC equipment. Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines, as necessary. Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards. Assist with troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on production machinery as needed. High School Diploma or GED (preferred) with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience. Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.

Experience with vertical mills or similar equipment.

Work Environment Utility Operator This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
