Overview The Medicare Enrollment Specialist educates consumers who have reached out to VNS Health Plans and existing VNS Health Plans MLTC members about the benefits of enrolling in MAP, MAPD and/or DSNP products. Achieves monthly conversion rate and quality/compliance metrics. Works under general supervision. Educates and enrolls them into the program adhering to CMS guidelines and VNS Health policies and procedures. Coordinates home nursing assessment visits, when appropriate, to ensure successful enrollment into the program. Educates VNS Health Plans MA and/or MLTC members on MAP and conducts telephonic enrollments into the product. Performs retention efforts developed by VNS Health leadership to reduce member turnover. Educates consumers who contact VNS Health Plans via website about VNS Health Plans Medicare products. Qualifications Licenses and Certifications: NYS Health Insurance License, required Education: High School diploma or the equivalent, required Bachelor's degree, preferred Work Experience: Minimum two years of managed Medicare, Medicaid, life insurance and/or any other sales experience that includes collecting premiums during the initial sale required OR a minimum two years of experience in a related department at VNS Health Plans, required Experience marketing to a culturally diverse target population, required Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups, required Strong organizational skills, required Existing relationships with key potential referrers, required Russian bi-lingual skills, preferred Minimum two years of managed Medicare, Medicaid, life insurance and/or any other sales experience that includes collecting premiums during the initial sale required OR a minimum two years of experience in a related department at VNS Health Plans, required Experience marketing to a culturally diverse target population, required Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups, required Strong organizational skills, required Existing relationships with key potential referrers, required Russian bi-lingual skills, preferred Pay Range USD $70,200.00 - USD $87,700.00 /Yr.
