Job Title: AP Accountant

Location: Robbinsville, NJ

Pay: $30 - $33 an hour

A highly reputable manufacturing corporation is looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team! This role includes a large range of duties including but not limited to full cycle accounts payable, reconciling accounts, assisting with month end close activities, and much more!

Job Description:

Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and proper authorization

Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts

Enter invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner

Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate contact and payment information

Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies

Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding issues

Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers

Ensure payments comply with company policies and contractual terms

Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and avoid late fees

Reconcile AP transactions and resolve variances

Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and AP aging reports

Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed

Maintain adherence to internal controls and accounting policies

Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance

Experience using a large ERP system

Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups.

2-5 years accounting experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.50/hr.
