Central Louisiana State Hospitallocated inPineville, Louisianais seeking applicants for a vacant position in ourNursing Departmentas anAdministrative Coordinator 1-2 who performs a variety of clerical duties that are routine in nature in support of the staff members and/or operations of an organizational unit or program.
The Administrative Coordinator 1-2 plays a vital role for the Louisiana Department of Health in the Behavioral Health community by utilizing CLSH's values and mission to deliver quality and effective care to our patients, and ensuring our facilities are maintained accordingly. The hospital is highly committed to cooperative work with other state agencies and with the state and regional mental health program to insure the integration and coordination of hospital-community services into a comprehensive system of mental health care.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Creates clinic and off ground packets daily for review by· the unit RN.
Ensure patient medical records have an adequate amount of appropriate forms.
Files documents in patient medical records. Maintain patient information on the unit including Insurance and Demographic forms obtained from the Admissions office.
Ensure hospital forms are reviewed/replaced with updated version on an ongoing basis and are organized in sufficient quantity in the conference room for nursing staff (Lab slips, therapeutic flow sheets, etc.)
Prepares patient forms for Pass and Discharge.
Maintain an adequate supply of forms used by nursing staff to complete daily duties.
Print labels with patient specific information to be placed on patient medical records.
Document patient information on the Jot Sheet as directed by RN staff. Keep daily report worksheet updated with current census.
Receive, log, distribute, and return/forward client mail daily.
Maintain Sundry Closet for indigent clients and shop to stock on an as needed basis. Use Client funds to purchase personal items and complete associated paperwork. Inventory and label all items purchased for/by clients. Complete requisitions, obtain needed signatures from purchasing, and purchase/order items required for patient care weekly.
Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate staff. Fax documents to the appropriate area of the hospital.
Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor/designee to maintain continuity and quality, accreditation and licensure requirements.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
Compensation:This position has a minimum hire rate of $840.00 bi-weekly for an Administrative Coordinator 1, and $962.40 bi-weekly for an Administrative Coordinator 2.
