Position Summary...
We're looking for a forward-thinking communications leader to shape how content, data, and user experience come together across Walmart's Health & Wellness ecosystem. In this role, you'll define the strategies and storytelling frameworks that help patients and customers discover, understand, and take action on their health across every channel.
As a key member of the Health & Wellness Communications team, you will lead the development of intuitive, insight-driven communications that simplify complex information, strengthen the customer journey, and drive measurable business impact. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams-spanning product, clinical operations, data, marketing, and legal-to bring clarity, consistency, and innovation to the way we communicate health.
This role must be based in Bentonville, AR reports to the Director, Communications - Multi-channel Activation & Experimentation.

What you'll do...
Lead and Optimize Content Strategy: Drive content and experience strategy across multiple channels to deliver a cohesive, intuitive customer journey, using experimentation and performance insights to continually optimize messages, formats, and channel approaches.
Design and Refine Communications: Develop, test, and refine new communication formats and journey flows to improve customer comprehension, engagement, conversion, and retention, ensuring all content aligns with Walmart's brand, mission, and accessibility standards.
Data-Driven Storytelling and Insights: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives using tools like Power BI and Tableau, supporting content decisions and influencing leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business, product, legal, marketing, and data science teams to deliver HIPAA-compliant, user-centered communications and support organizational goals.
Performance Measurement and Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards, develop measurement frameworks (including KPI tracking and A/B testing), and simplify complex health or operational data for patient-facing communications and leadership presentations
What You'll Bring:
Passion for connecting content, design, data, and experimentation to elevate patient and customer experience.
Deep experience in digital content strategy, UX writing, and data-informed communications.
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in A/B testing, message optimization, and performance measurement.
Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar preferred).
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead complex, multi-channel initiatives.
Exceptional storytelling skills-translating data and insights into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 4 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area OR 6 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area.
1 year's supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
