Eaton's IS VEH VGGP division is currently seeking a Marketing Co-op.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 per hour.

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you'll do:

The Mobility Group in Southfield, MI has an opening for a Marketing Communications Co-Op. This position is a 6-month co-op.

Summary of Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications Co-op is a 6-month position with the possibility of extension. This role supports marketing functions including social media management, event coordination, and content development. It offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, helping candidates build confidence, sharpen presentation skills, and grow professionally in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment..

Essential Functions

Working with marketing managers to generate content for social media; utilize corporate tools to create posts and manage social media accounts Create reports, analyze data, and interpret results for management Assisting in developing, evaluating, implementing, updating and maintaining various department websites, tools, programs and processes. Supporting event management (trade shows, webinars, etc) Attending and participating in meetings and carrying out designated action items Supporting projects and managing time for multiple assignments

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's program in marketing, business, communications or advertising at an accredited university. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (please do not round). Must be at least 1 year away from graduation, 2 or more years preferred. (sophomore, junior, or senior are eligible) Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with digital marketing and social media management Knowledge of adobe illustrator/photoshop or Canva experience

Position Criteria:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); working knowledge of SharePoint is encourage but not required Ability to communicate across the function and collaborate with peers Attention to detail Thinks and acts strategically Takes direction quickly and is self-motivated Confidence to present ideas and network with internal organization
