The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain leads all supply chain activities for the Andover Manufacturing Site, ensuring seamless alignment between global strategies and local operational execution. This role oversees production planning, inventory management, procurement, warehousing, and logistics to ensure efficient flow of materials and on-time delivery to customers.
As a member of the Site Leadership Team, the Sr. Manager collaborates closely with global supply chain functions, manufacturing, quality, and distribution to ensure site performance, strategic alignment, and the continuous improvement of end-to-end supply chain processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
Act as the site's supply chain leader and member of the Andover Leadership Team, ensuring cross-functional alignment of supply chain objectives with business priorities.
Align site initiatives and performance with global and regional supply chain strategies and KPIs.
Strengthen the integration between the corporate S&OP process and site-level execution through the design and deployment of a comprehensive Master Production Schedule (MPS) that ensures alignment between demand forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing capability.
Lead the development and implementation of advanced planning and capacity management tools to enhance visibility into production loads, constraints, and long-term capacity planning.
Support long-term production and resource planning in alignment with network capacity and growth objectives.
Represent the Andover site in the Global Supply Chain community and contribute to cross-site initiatives focused on process harmonization, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
Planning and Procurement
Lead production planning for both Implant and Prosthetic value streams, translating corporate demand plans into executable schedules that optimize resources and meet customer delivery expectations.
Evolve existing planning practices into a data-driven load and capacity evaluation framework that optimizes sequencing, balances workloads, and enhances responsiveness to changes in demand or supply.
Oversee purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, strong supplier performance, and alignment with global and regional procurement strategies.
Promote collaborative relationships with cross-functional and regional partners to identify cost optimization and standardization opportunities across indirect and direct materials.
Drive the evolution of purchasing practices toward a more strategic, analytics-driven, and partnership-oriented function that supports operational and financial goals.
Maintain and optimize SAP master data and material parameters to ensure planning accuracy and data integrity.
Inventory and Warehouse Management
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, kitting, and dispatch of materials to internal and external customers.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective control systems, root cause analysis of variances, and continuous improvement in material flow.
Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements for full material traceability.
Drive initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, internal logistics, and flow efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Logistics and Distribution
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective transport of materials and finished goods.
Coordinate closely with Corporate and North American Distribution Centers to ensure consistent service levels and delivery performance.
Lead or support product return and recall processes as required, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory procedures.
Performance Management and Continuous Improvement
Define, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations, including service level, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and delivery performance.
Lead continuous improvement and lean supply chain initiatives to reduce lead time, cost, and waste.
Support sustainability and energy-reduction projects related to logistics, storage, and material movement.
Leverage data analytics to drive decision-making, risk mitigation, and operational excellence across the end-to-end supply chain.
People Leadership
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning planning, procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team and across interfaces with production and corporate functions.
Build team capabilities in planning, analytics, and supplier collaboration to ensure long-term organizational strength.
Promote behaviors that support values of trust, collaboration, agility, and entrepreneurship.
Ensure effective succession planning, performance management, and employee development across all supply chain disciplines.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Donning of personal protective equipment as required and as posted in selected areas of the site where hazardous materials and equipment are in use.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in supply chain management, including leadership of multifunctional teams in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business Administration.
Proven expertise with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data-driven planning tools.
Strong understanding of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and GMP standards.
Demonstrated ability to align strategic and operational priorities and to work effectively across functions and geographies.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and global teams.
