The Position
The Manager, Market Access Insights & Analytics provides customer insights (Patient, HCP, Payer, Provider, etc.) to identify and assess opportunities, while partnering with key stakeholders to develop or refine market /brand/franchise/ customer strategies to optimize market approach and market access strategies for the organization. This analytics and stakeholder engagement role develops and helps activate insights based on patient, HCP, and payer data within relevant groups, contributing to franchise/manage markets strategic decisions. This role contributes to analytic guidance for Managed Markets Strategy, Market Access Sales Leadership Teams to identify market and customer scenarios and understanding expected to have a high impact on NNI business, and develops analytical models to help make business critical decisions.
Relationships
This role reports to the Director, Market Access Insights & Analytics, within the Enterprise Insights department. This individual will work closely across Market Access and Public Affairs stakeholders and department, along with colleagues across Enterprise Insights, Finance/Forecasting, Pricing, etc.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with Managed Markets Sales, Market Access Leadership Teams, and the Associate Director, Insights & Analytics, Market Access to identify market and customer scenarios expected to have a high impact on NNI business:
Contributes to proactive advanced data analysis for identification of unexploited areas of opportunity to execute on NNI strategy
Co-develops business cases with concise and complete story-lines to communicate and secure buy-in on recommendations
Integrate relevant unstructured and structured data to support the development of analytical models
Develops analytical models to help make business critical decisions
Analysis & Insights
Scan the market to understand key trends impacting markets and organized customers
Analysis of longitudinal claims and/or patient data, to e.g. identify Rx claims outcomes, patient out-of-pocket burden, etc.
Provide analytical deep dives to Market Access Strategy, Channels, and Account teams
Physical Requirements
10-20% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required. Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related qualitative field preferred
Advanced degree in business analysis, data science, statistics, mathematics or any other analytical field is preferred
Advanced analytical skills required, statistical modeling preferred
Experience in Tableau is preferred
A minimum of 4 years analytics or analytics and research experience preferred
Analytical and/or technical proficiency at analyzing large data sets to derive insights required
Experience analyzing pharmaceutical data, specifically Xponent, Xponent PlanTrak, and Patient-level data (e.g., LAAD or Symphony Health patient data) is preferred. Experience with data visualization tools preferred
Creative problem-solving with ability to solve complex unstructured problems; see opportunities through
Innate intellectual curiosity, demonstrated desire to take initiative, and ability to think creatively to solve Outstanding team- and client-facing communication skills
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, environment, with a quality control focus and a documentation orientation
Ability to lead without authority/reporting relationship required

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $185,000. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
Novo Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company vehicles depending on the position's level or other company factors.
