About the Role: This is a position in Quality Assurance responsible for leading or participating in testing of systems. This position works with management to enhance quality and process standards and to plan and execute effective and efficient test approaches to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and/or data. This position will usually have a diversified understanding of QA testing including different testing methodologies, legacy products, and new innovation/acquisition products.

Responsibilities
· Assisting in identifying and implementing tools to improve testing capabilities and product quality
· Resolving issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate
· Identifying opportunities to apply existing automation or other tools to meet testing needs
· Innovating process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction
· Researching tools and leading initiatives to cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality
· Improving testing capability and efficiency by identifying areas for cooperation with other teams
Requirements
· 5+ years of QA Test Analyst experience· BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
· Have advanced knowledge of QA methodologies and knowledge of process improvement
· Have an advanced understanding of the software development process
· Be familiar with various QA testing methods, including legacy and innovative products
· Be experienced in QA testing on larger scale projects
· Be proficient in working within budgets
· Have a great attention to detail

Responsibilities:- Participate in initiatives to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality.- Resolve issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate.- Identify opportunities to apply existing automation or other tools to meet testing needs.- Innovate process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction.- Research available tools and lead or participate in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality.- Identify areas where it is an advantage to work with other teams to improve overall quality and, with peers or others, implement initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency.- Develop and execute testing for large or multiple diverse projects to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification.- Identify opportunities to apply automation or other tools to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of testing.- Interact with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards.- Innovate process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance.- Construct, execute, and document test plans and test cases/scripts including regression, integration, certification, and load testing as appropriate in a manner consistent with team standards.- Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate.- Ensure that testing addresses requirements as agreed with other stakeholders.- Identify areas where it is an advantage to work with other teams to improve overall quality and, with peers or others, implement initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency.- Maintain industry awareness by evaluating emerging trends/technology.- Conduct project reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined, and implement procedures for ensuring quality control of project deliverables.- Cooperate in the enhancement of the methodologies employed for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting.- Maintain framework for record retention in order to support internal and external IT audits.- Assist with process improvement and compliance to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products and services on a timely basis.- Ensure results of root cause analysis are addressed.
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
