Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Responsibilities:

Handle administrative and clerical tasks within the Accounts Payable and Finance Department.

Process daily transactions and controls with accuracy while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Provide exceptional customer service to internal business partners.

Assist with internal and external audits as needed.

Open, sort, and distribute incoming department mail.

Organize and maintain records by sorting, logging, photocopying, and filing invoices, checks, and other financial documents.

Verify, record, and mail checks, including managing expedited processing when required.

Undertake special projects as assigned by management. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in interactions with technical and financial teams.

Familiarity with NetSuite and other accounting software is highly desirable.

Ability to process invoices, handle check runs, and manage coding tasks efficiently.
