We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor for our 1st Shift, running Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. This position is pivotal in coordinating with the general assembly manager to prioritize work and ensure timely customer shipments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the general assembly manager to establish work priorities and ensure all promised customer shipment dates are achieved.

Assist with assigning work to department personnel based on skill and ensure established assembly methods are consistently followed.

Ensure that all work orders and employee labor entries are properly updated and completed promptly.

Assist in resolving on-the-job technical problems.

Inspect all completed equipment before release for shipment.

Participate in personnel performance assessments and offer suggestions for improvement.

Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

Promote a positive, professional atmosphere and ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Painting, supervision, and industrial skills.

Minimum of 3 years' successful experience as a technical lead or supervisor in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.

Mechanical ability and experience working with a variety of small hand tools.

Knowledge of electricity and ability to read simple blueprints and schematics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to solve practical problems, assign tasks, and effectively engage personnel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Mechanical engineering degree is strongly preferred.

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a manufacturing environment featuring both a Machine Shop and Assembly environment. The facility is clean and well lit, ensuring a comfortable and professional workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Langhorne, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
